Shane had enlisted the help of Emma's best friend to pull off this magical proposal. When they reached out to me to document I was so excited! If you're thinking of popping the question, here's your sign to hire a photographer. Best friends who have your back (and take multiple trips to set up something this great- are priceless!)
Shane had planned the most romantic back drop at the Gathering Grove. As you walked up the nature trail to the grove, the warm glow of candles and twinkle lights became visible. Pops of red roses and petals sprinkled around the gazebo made for such a warm vibe.
From my hiding spot in the trees, I was able to watch her face light up as they walked in. When Shane dropped to his knee, it was the sweetest moment. There were lots of hugs, smooches and some bubbly to celebrate.
..There was one more surprise waiting at the resort.
The giggles, conversations and questions were so funny on the walk back down. Emma wanted to know how Shane had pulled this off and who knew already. Little did she know....
Their best friends, family and loved ones were all waiting to celebrate with them when they got back!
We ended our time together with some beautiful images in the rain on the way to their engagement dinner.
